July 15-22
Trip Itinerary:
- Departing from Pitt Meadows to Quesnel. Pig roast and Salmon BBQ await us on the Friday night in Quesnel, as well as the town's Billy Barker Days summer festival.
- Depart Quesnel for Athabasca, AB. Athabasca is hosting a big fly-in on Saturday, then the town will be having a big party that evening.
- Depart Athabasca for La Ronge, with a fuel stop in Cold Lake. The flying club in Cold Lake will have burgers and hot dogs ready for the hungry crews! Arrival in La Ronge will include aircraft flying in for the Great Canadian Fly-in and BBQ.
- July 19&20, I'll be taking a small group of planes north to Stony Rapids to spend a night at Camp Grayling, a world class fishing camp.
- July 21 the Century Flight portion of the trip wraps up in La Ronge.
- July 22-25 will take us further North for a quick stop in Uranium City, then spending the weekend in Yellowknife, NWT. Anyone want any Hats, T-shirts, or Hoodies from Buffalo Airways?

This years trip was a fantastic experience in Northern Saskatchewan, followed by a side-trip with the crew of HGE to Yellowknife afterwards.
Next years Century Flight trip is going to be based out of Yellowknife. I think this will be a fantastic destination. We'll be putting together the list of fly-outs in the coming months. I'll be pushing for a flight up to the Arctic Ocean, possibly Kugluktuk.
Stay tuned for details!
Send me any Email/Facebook/Twitter if you are following along and enjoy reading about the trip.
It will keep me motivated to post more if I know people are reading it!

Arrived in Athabasca this afternoon.
I've discovered that I can't update this Google Webpage through my iPad. So please follow my posts on Facebook and Twitter. I'll post here when I can get access to a computer, which may become more difficult as we head North.

8:42am DEPARTURE DAY!! Looks like the weather is going to make our departure challenging. Heading to the airport shortly to start loading the plane. We'll meet up at the coffee shop in the terminal to do a closer study of the weather on the iPad and plan our route and timing.
